  • The World Climate Research Program (WCRP) Coupled Model Intercomparison Project, Phase 6 (CMIP6) data from the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) CESM2 model output for the "historical well-mixed GHG-only run" (hist-GHG) experiment. These are available at the following frequencies: AERmon, Amon, CFmon, Eday, EdayZ, Emon, LImon, Lmon, Oday, Ofx, Omon, SIday, SImon and day. The runs included the ensemble member: r1i1p1f1. CMIP6 was a global climate model intercomparison project, coordinated by PCMDI (Program For Climate Model Diagnosis and Intercomparison) on behalf of the WCRP and provided input for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) 6th Assessment Report (AR6). The official CMIP6 Citation, and its associated DOI, is provided as an online resource linked to this record.

  • This dataset contains level 2 vector formatted data derived from the Centre of Ecology and Hydrology's (CEH) Land Cover Map 2000 (LCM2000) data for the Harwood Forest, UK, NCAVEO calibration/validation (cal/val) test site. The NERC funded Network for Calibration and Validation of EO (NCAVEO) campaign was designed to illustrate and explain the processes involved in cal/val of earth observation data.

  • The World Climate Research Program (WCRP) Coupled Model Intercomparison Project, Phase 6 (CMIP6) data from the Norwegian Climate Centre (NCC) NorESM2-LM model output for the "gap-filling scenario reaching 7.0 based on SSP3" (ssp370) experiment. These are available at the following frequencies: 3hr, 6hrLev, 6hrPlev, 6hrPlevPt, AERday, AERmon, Amon, CF3hr, CFday, CFmon, Eday, Emon, LImon, Lmon, Oday, Ofx, Omon, Oyr, SIday, SImon, day and fx. • The Airborne Research & Survey Facility (ARSF, formerly Airborne Remote Sensing Facility) is managed by NERC Scientific Services and Programme Management. It provides the UK environmental science community, and other potential users, with the means to obtain remotely-sensed data in support of research, survey and monitoring programmes. The ARSF is a unique service providing environmental researchers, engineers and surveyors with synoptic analogue and digital imagery of high spatial and spectral resolution. The NEODC holds the entire archive of Airborne Thematic Mapper (ATM) and Compact Airborne Spectrographic Imager (CASI) data acquired by the NERC ARSF. High-resolution scanned digital versions of the entire collection of analogue photographs are now also available as well as selected LiDAR-derived elevation and terrain models for selected sites flown using the sensor.

  • Daily concatenated files of ceilometer cloud base height and aerosol profile data from Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI)'s Vaisala CL51 deployed at Diepenbeek, Belgium. These data were produced by the EUMETNET's E-PROFILE processing hub as part of the ceilometer and lidar network operated as part of the by EUMETNET members. This network covers most of Europe with additional sites worldwide. The site has a corresponding WMO Integrated Global Observing System (WIGOS) id: 0-20000-0-06477. See online documentation for link to station details in the Observing Systems Capability Analysis and Review (OSCAR) Tool. EUMETNET is a grouping of 31 European National Meteorological Services that provides a framework to organise co-operative programmes between its Members in the various fields of basic meteorological activities. One such programme is the EUMETNET Profiling Programme: E-PROFILE. See EUMETNET page linked from this record for further details of EUMETNET's activities.

  • Airborne atmospheric measurements from core and non-core instrument suites data on board the FAAM BAE-146 aircraft collected for Continuum Absorption in the Visible and Infrared and its Atmospheric Relevance (CAVIAR) project.
